Vice President Yemi Osinbajo will be hosted by the University of Nigeria Nsukka (UNN), on Thursday, for the Students’ Innovation Challenge.

Osinbajo’s visit is coming barely a week after he was in Enugu for the book presentation of former governor, Sullivan Chime.

The VP, who is scheduled to witness the South East/South South edition of the innovation challenge, will use the opportunity to inspect the technological centre and science park of the first generation university.

Vice Chancellor of UNN, Prof. Benjamin Ozumba, who said this at a press briefing, in Enugu, yesterday, to announce activities lined up for the 48th convocation ceremonies of the university, added that the institution boasts of the only campus-based science park in Africa.

He said the institution has broken an academic record as it would award over 400 Ph.D degrees at the convocation; a feat, he noted, is unprecedented in the history of any Nigerian university, in a single ceremony.
