In a recent article sponsored by a member of All Progressive Party (APC), saying that the wife of the Governor of Anambra State, Mrs Ebelechukwu Obiano has no mandate to tour Anambra Local government Areas in the state, and the writer alleged that the Governor’s wife has been spending government funds.
This kind of sweeping statement can only come from someone with wicked intentions that has lost focus and also bereft of something meaningful to say.
The sponsor of the article likes to give the impression that he is doing his best to market APC to Anambra electorate without knowing that Anambra people know what to believe or not.
Osodieme, the governor’s wife , as a mother that is blessed with a good heart overflowing with milk of kindness started touring Anambra State for the provision of succour to the less privileged ndi Anambra and the physically challenged ones among them since 2015.
It has been said many times that what she is doing for people on the platform of CAFÉ, her pet project is not done with government funds but with the donations realised from public spirited individuals.
Another good news that was revealed to ndi Anambra in this year 2020 LGA tour of Osodieme is that plans have been concluded for her to continue touching lives positively in Anambra and America after the tenure of Governor Obiano.
Osodieme has an undying passion to touch lives positively in our society and nobody can stop her from doing what she has passion to do.
I challenge the brain behind the article to produce evidence of the state government fund he claimed that Osodieme is using to tour Anambra LGA and if he cannot produce such evidence, he should remain silent.
Everything cannot be politics and Anambra APC need to go for a tutorial on how to play responsible opposition politics so that they will stop committing political blunders in the name of criticisms.
Another thing I will say is that referring to Osodieme as the defacto Governor of Anambra State as was done by the author in his latest press release is now an inconsequential story.
Whether APC and other opposition elements like it or not, Osodieme will continue contributing her own quota of support the success of Governor Obiano’s administration.
It is not by accident that God made her Governor Obiano’s beloved wife and in that regards, she will continue playing the role God brought her to play in the life of her husband.
Governor Obiano is doing the big things like the ongoing construction of Anambra Cargo international Airport, execution of 10,000 seater capacity international conference centre, construction of Awka Township Stadium to FIFA standard, paying civil servants salaries as at when due, opening up Anambra agrarian areas through road construction, lighting up Anambra State through his laudable operation light up Anambra initiative, securing lives and properties of ndi Anambra .
Osodieme on the other hand is also doing the little things like empowering the widows through donation of well furnished houses to them, empowering our youths with skill acquisition and giving them seed money to start up something after the skill acquisition programme, rehabilitation of the mentally ill ones for reintegration with their loved ones, taking care of the needs of the physically challenged persons, provision of artificial legs and hands to the physically challenged persons and picking abandoned babies from Anambra streets to take care of their upkeep and providing for the needy.
Doing all that I mentioned above is Osodieme’s divine mission on earth and ndi Anambra are happy that she is fulfilling that mission.
The words on the lips of ndi Anambra for Osodieme as at today is thank you Mother Theresa of our time and may God reward you abundantly for all you are doing for us.
Armchair criticism will not yield any fruitful results for the nonexistent Anambra APC.
I always refer to Anambra APC as a nonexistent party because their leaders admitted before the Vice President that they are not in existence in Anambra State.
