Ex Nigerian international, Felix Owolabi has joined host of others in dropping his tribute for the late football legend, Pele
Edson Arantes do Nascimento, known mononymously as Pele, died at 82, Pele’s daughter, Kely Nascimento, had been providing regular updates on her father throughout the month, with the world learning of his ill health before his death was confirmed on December 29.
Felix Owolabi on this social media described the football icon as the greatest footballer of the century.
“The greatest footballer of this century has passed on. A legend and ICON. A 3-time World Cup winner. Adieu Pele. You made the greatest impact in football and brought Brazil to what it is today. Sleep well. He lived a worthy life without and controversy. Oba Awon Oba.” Felix Owolabi wrote on his Facebook page.
