Oluseye Ojo, Ibadan

Senator Rashidi Ladoja, former governor of Oyo State and Osi Olubadan of Ibadanland, on Tuesday afternoon, made a public presentation of Mr. Oluseyi Makinde, the governorship candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) as a coalition governorship candidate of five leading opposition political parties in the state.

The public presentation took place during a world press conference held at the Press Centre of the Nigerian Union of Journalists (NUJ), Iyaganku, Ibadan.

The political parties that have successfully formed the coalition are the PDP, African Democratic Congress (ADC), Zenith Labour Party (ZLP), Social Democratic Party (SDP) and New Progressive Movement (NPM).

The public presentation was personally attended by Ladoja and the coalition governorship candidate, Makinde. Also in attendance were the governorship candidates that stepped down for Makinde and asked their supporters to vote for the PDP governorship candidate on March 9, 2019.

The governorship candidates who stepped down were Senator Olufemi Lanlehin of ADC, Chief Bolaji Ayorinde (SAN) of SDP, Chief Sarafadeen Alli of ZLP, and Lt. Col. Feyisayo Ladoye (rtd) of NPM.
