To Dr. Amos Jokotoye Fenwa, the popular preacher and General Overseer of Holy Ghost Christian Centre, practical spirituality is key. He believes that paying attention to practical matters should control one’s life. Thus, his Lekki, Lagos branch of the church considered it imperative to look into the current economic challenges in Nigeria vis-à-vis the grinding recession and came up with a five-day Power and Faith Revival Programme entitled “God Can”. The event also incorporates a business summit to discuss the way out.

Dr. Fenwa with Pastor Femi Okanlawon, who heads the Island branch called Testimony Place, teamed up to deliver a powerful ministration that had as special guests, Rev. Funke Felix Adejumo of Agape Christian ministries; Rev. Abiodun Fatoyinbo of COZA; Bishop Bernard Asare of Zion Praise Chapel Ghana, and visually-impaired but exceedingly talented music producer/singer Cobhams Asuquo, who performed soul-lifting praise and worship numbers to electrify the programme.
