A Gabon-based prophet, Andrew Nwokoma, has admonished Governor Rochas Okorocha of Imo State to pay workers in the state civil service outstanding salaries without further delay or risk the anger of God.
Nwokoma, who stated this in a letter he addressed to the governor and made available to Daily Sun, said he received the message from God after a 40-day fasting and praying session.
“Governor Rochas Okrocha, this is your message from God Almighty.  God said you should pay workers their salaries because ‘a worker deserves his pay’.
“You should pay them completely. God said you should forgive his people, the people of Imo State for provoking you to withhold their salaries. It is by forgiving, that you will become more popular and greater.”
The Mbaise-born prophet, who said he has lived in Gabon since 1985 told Okorocha “to concentrate and deliver the dividends of democracy to the people of God in Imo State.
“The Lord said you should not forget that you are his servant. None of all the people troubling you has done what you have done for God.
“There’s no more distraction for you, says God Almighty.”
You have to concentrate and deliver the dividends of democracy to the people of God in Imo State,” the letter further read.
