It was a stormy session, on Tuesday, at the House of Representatives as lawmakers elected on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) staged a walkout during a plenary which was held under rowdy atmosphere.

The decision of the opposition lawmakers to leave the Green Chamber was not unconnected with the decision of the Speaker Yakubu Dogara’s choise to align with his All Progressives Congress (APC) members who were in support of the defection of a PDP member from Imo State, Hon. Nnana Igbokwe.

The lawmaker said he had joined the APC since January this year, noting that the letter was just to clear doubts in the minds of his colleagues and constitutents as to the political party he belongs to.
