As part of efforts to consolidate on the reconciliation efforts he has embarked upon, Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) reconciliation committee and Governor of Bayelsa State, Henry Seriake Dickson, is to meet with all aggrieved members in January 2018.

Governor Dickson, who recently concluded a reconciliation tour to the South- West region already met with former governors Rasheed Ladoja and Gbenga Daniel of Oyo and Ogun states, respectively, as well as Chief Olabode George and Chief Jimi Agbaje.

Governor Dickson is believed would meet other stakeholders at a meeting tentatively scheduled for the second week of January also meet with members of the new National Working Committee.

According to the governor, all aggrieved candidates at the last PDP national convention and other members of the party needed to be patient as the Committee is doing everything possible to get all members back on board.

The governor, who disclosed this while fielding questions from journalists, in Yenagoa, assured that the PDP Reconciliation Committee would reach out to other aggrieved candidates after the yuletide, towards addressing all legitimate concerns arising from the convention.

While expressing optimism that the on-going reconciliation efforts within the party would yield positive results, he said the meeting would address all concerns, with a view to building a strong and united PDP.

Governor Dickson stated that the meeting, expected to hold at the PDP National secretariat, in Abuja, would also have in attendance, the members of the new national working committee, who would use the opportunity to have the opportunity to interact closely with such aggrieved candidates and the committee.
