PEOPLES Democratic Party (PDP) stakeholders in Nkanu East, Enugu State have commended the administration of the state governor, Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi.

The party also extolled the judgment of the Court of Appeal, Abuja division, which upheld the December 8, 2014 nomination of Ugwuanyi as the PDP candidate in the 2015 governorship election in the state.

The positions of the party followed a motion proposed by a party chieftain, Chief Greg Inyaba, and seconded by the former leader of the Enugu State House of Assembly, John Anichukwu at the party stakeholders meeting, which held at the local government headquarters, Amagunze, at the weekend.

Speaking on the spur of the motion, the council Chairman, Ikechukwu Ubagu, said the people were pleased with the efforts of the state government to ensure even development in the midst of scarce resources.
