From George Aluo in Addis Ababa

The President of the Nigerian Football Federation (NFF) Amaju Pinnick has been elected into the Executive Committee of the Confederation of African Football (CAF).
Pinnick defeated his Benin Republic counterpart Anjorin Musharraf by 32 votes against 17 to emerge winner.
Amaju. it would be noted was in the camp of the youthful African soccer progressives that ousted Issa Hayatou.
Pinnick’s administration has seen the Nigerian Premier League returning to its former glories, while Nigerian footballers are beginning to show interest in the national team.
