Senator representing Plateau South and Plateau State governorship candidate, Gen. Jeremiah Useni (retd) said he would provide adequate security for Plateau farmers to make food available in the north central region.
He noted that it is only a governor who has great concern for his people that will work assiduously to protect and improve the welfare of the people.
Sen. Useni disclosed this on Saturday during his campaign rally in Bokkos, Barkin-Ladi and Riyom local government areas of Plateau State.
“It takes someone who is tough and has concern for his people to provide them with security. I will provide security in Plateau for farmers to produce for the North Central when you elect me as governor.
“I am aware that police uniform has been provided for some thugs to intimate people at the polling units; don’t be afraid. Cast your votes and protect them; anybody who shoots you will face the law.”
The Chairman, House Committee on Rules and Business in the House of Representatives, Hon. Edward Pwajok, who presented APC wards executives that defected to PDP urged Nigerians to vote massively for Atiku Abubakar to revive the Nigerian economy.
Pwajok said APC has no focus and has been deceiving Nigerians in the last three and a half years and urged the people to vote out the party and vote in PDP to secure Plateau and Nigeria.
Receiving the defectors, former Minister of Sports and Youth Development and PDP Chairman, Plateau State, Hon. Damishi Sango, said Useni and Atiku would resettle Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) in Plateau State to their places of abode.
He urged the people to ignore APC because the party had abandoned the people.
