Plateau State People’s Democratic Party (PDP) candidate for governor, Barr Caleb Mutfwang, on Monday, visited grieving families of party supporters who died in an auto crash after the Plateau Central Zone PDP rally held at Pankshin Local Government Area of the state.

He described the demise of the mostly young victims as painful and unfortunate, saying despite the caution, the sad incident occurred.

Mutfwang who was at the palace of the District Head of Ampang West, Da. Pius Mutla Finok, weep over the incident and said the deceased are all our younger ones.

“We are in a mourning mood, we don’t know why this was allowed to happen despite several wards of caution on the truck driver. I was told that a prominent person stop to caution him on the road before the incident happened.

“They are all our younger ones, we will miss them greatly,” Mutfwang stated.

District Head eDa Pius Mutla Finok, who was in distress over the losss, appreciated the candidate for the visit and said no one has the capacity to question the authority of God.

Mutfwang, who visited the families of the deceased in Danggu, Jerep, Perka, and Pishik villages in Ampang West, prayed fervently for the reposed of the deceased and God’s comfort for the entire families.

It was observed in a dramatic twist that some parents of the deceased in their separate responses comforted Mutfwang and encouraged him to remain strong and focused, and prayed for his victory in the next election.

The delegation included deputy governor candidate Ngo Josephine Piyo, the Director General Atiku/Mutfwang organisation, Hon Latep Dabang, PDP national ex-officio member Olivia Dazyam, Campaign Council Central Zone Coordinator Ephraim Usman, an elder of the party, Chief Simon Tangni, among others.
