From Noah Ebije, Kaduna
In continuation of his inspection tour of 100 projects under the Nigeria Police Trust Funds (NPTF), 2021 intervention programme, the Executive Secretary of the Funds, Alhaji Abdullahi Bala Sokoto on Tuesday inspected  three more of the projects.
The projects included the construction of police cyber crime control centre, the Ranks and Files Quarters in Garki barracks, and ICT Conference hall in Jabi.
Shortly after inspecting the projects, the  Executive Secretary said he was impressed by the quality and pace of the work by the contractors, believing that they will deliver the jobs within the agreed period of time.
“I am very much impressed with the work the contractor has done here. He has promised to deliver the job by the end of February. The next one is the Ranks and Files Quarters which is very solid. I am also very impressed.
“The third one is the ICT conference centre; the work is going on there. The structures are very solid and the contractor is working according to specifications. The cost of these projects is over N1billion.  The cyber crime control centre is about N870 million. And that of  police headquarters is about N440 million”. He said.
