The Gombe State Police Command has paraded three suspects believed to have kidnapped a doctor working at the Dadin Kowa Cottage Hospital, sometime last October.

The command equally paraded other criminals while also displaying exhibits recovered from the suspects.

Addressing journalists, on Monday, when the suspects were paraded at the Police Headquarters, in Gombe, Commissioner of Police Shina Tairu Olukolu, said the suspects were arrested in connection with the kidnap of Dr. Ephraim Ajuji, of the Cottage Hospital, Dadin Kowa, who was abducted October last year.

The police boss also said the suspects were arrested by operatives of the Special Anti-robbery Squad and hunters between Deba and Balanga Local Government Areas, based on reliable information from the public, but that three others were still at large.

The suspected kidnappers paraded by the police include Mua’zu Adamu alias Dabo, Bodori Maifada and Wada Ahmadu, with three other members of the gang still at large.

Other suspected criminals arrested included those involved in house-breaking, theft and receiving stolen property, possession of Nigerian currencies suspected to be counterfeits, as well as criminal conspiracy and motorcycle theft.

The Police Commissioner assured members of the public in the state of their safety and protection during the festive season.

He, however, warned members of the public to be conscious of who they conduct business with during the festivities.

Exhibit recovered from the criminals include one AK7 rifle with breech No. 56/12803774, 19 rounds of live ammunitions, one AK7 magazine, two machetes, one Bajaj motorcycle and N200, 000 cash among others.
