Enugu State Police Command said it has recovered the vehicle of one of the two Actors kidnapped four days ago in Enugu, Mrs. Cynthia Okereke at a place it was abandoned at Four-corners, along Enugu/Port-Harcourt Expressway, Ozalla, Nkanu West.

 

This is as the abductors are yet to open communication with families of their victims four days after.

 

Cynthia was said to be riding on her vehicle, a red-coloured Toyota RAV4 Jeep with reg. no. AGL 199 CY, with her colleague, Clemson Cornel popularly known as Agbogidi before they were abducted on their way back from a film location at Ozalla Town, Enugu State those believed to be kidnappers.

Disclosing the recovery of the vehicle, the State Police Public Relations Officer, Daniel Ndukwe (DSP) said the Police go information of the vehicle which was noticed to have been parked in an abandoned way at Four-corners, along Enugu/Port-Harcourt Expressway, Ozalla, Nkanu West.

 

Ndukwe said after visiting and recovering the vehicle,  “Coincidentally, at about 11.30am of same date (29/07/2022), a report was further received stating that the vehicle belongs to one Cynthia Okereke (f), a Nollywood Actress, who was last seen on 26/07/2022.

 

“Meanwhile, while the current report at our disposal dwells on a case of abandoned and recovered vehicle, as well as missing person, investigation has, however, been launched to locate the said person and unravel the circumstances surrounding her disappearance.”
