Kano State police command has arrested four persons for being in possession of eight card readers during the presidential and National Assembly elections.

The Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Haruna, Abdullahi Umar, disclosed this during an interview with the press at the command.

Giving insight into the operations of the command during the polls, he revealed that the suspects were picked up in Sabon Gari in Fagge Local Government Area, adding that they had been taken in for questioning.

According to him, four others were arrested for allegedly disrupting the elections and for attempting to snatch ballot boxes.

He added that the arrest occurred in a polling unit at Takalmawa in Gabasawa Local Government Areas of the state.
