” Today is a day that every Igbo man in Ghana should be happy to celebrate, to be together in unity and love. It is not by the strength of the Igbo alone or their wealth that  Igbo thrones are being established in the Diaspora but by the grace of God the Almighty. Our ancestors who desired that we continue to promote Igbo culture in the Diaspora are also  backing us by giving us their blessings. Our ancestors want us to celebrate Igbo culture anywhere we found ourself in the world and that was why Igbo kingship in the Diaspora was established by our founding fathers.

“Most of us left home when we were very young. Most of us were born here in Ghana, Lagos and other cities around the world, but we are privileged to be flying our cultural flag high to the glory of God.

“The Bible says as it is in heaven, so it shall also be on earth. So we want to continue to celebrate our culture so that our son’s and daughters will know where they are coming from.  so that tomorrow some of us will  not say ‘my brother say I am  from Igbo. ‘
