The General Evangelist, Christ Apostolic Church (CAC) worldwide, Prophet Hezekiah Oladeji, has urged Nigerians to put the disappointment of the postponement of last Saturday’s general elections behind them.
He said the little set back of the rescheduled presidential and national assembly polls cannot stop the fresh hope God has in store for the people.
The renowned man of God called Nigerians to make righteousness their watchword in all their undertakings.
Speaking on the 2019 All Nations’ Holy Pilgrimage to Odoowa, an annual programme of the church, Prophet Oladeji said God was ready to bless every participant and Nigeria at large at the event which holds February 18 to 22.
“The theme of the programme is ‘There Is Hope For You’. It will hold at Babalola Mountain Odoowa, Kwara State with the President of CAC worldwide, Pastor Abraham Olakunle Akinosun ministering alongside other ministers of God,” he said.
On the timing of the programme, the cleric said the rescheduled polls by Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) will not affect ” the Holy Pilgrimage to Odoowa, the birth place of the first General Evangelist of the church, Apostle Joseph Ago Babalola.
Prophet Oladeji said, “the organizers have adjusted the programme to end on Friday morning.
“The annual prayer tourism which begins on Monday February 18, 2019 at the home town of Babalola was originally billed to end on February 23, 2019, but with the shift in the date of the election from February 16 to 23 organizers have adjusted the programme to end with a night vigil on Thursday to Friday morning February 22, 2019.
“The promise of God to bless His children and give them a fresh hope remains constant and the promises will be poured down on by God from Monday through Thursday,” the pastor said.
