The Executive Secretary, Nigeria Christian Pilgrims Commission (NCPC), Rev Yakubu Pam, has challenged the medical personnel for the 2020 General Pilgrimage exercise to Israel to protect Nigerians against COVID-19 and other related diseases.
He gave this advice during the medical orientation exercise for the 2020 pilgrimage. He said the exercise which will take place in Israel, Rome and Greece would comply with COVID-19 guidelines of the respective countries,
His words: “You must bear in mind that in discharging your duties as medical professionals you are promoting the attitude of Christ himself.
“You must therefore work hard in love to protect our pilgrims from COVID-19 and meet other medical needs that may come up during the pilgrimage in Israel, Rome and Greece”.
