One of the discoveries of the just concluded PSG-Irukka Football Talent Hunt ,Wisdom Asoquo is on his way to the United Kingdom.
Asoquo who played for Real Carat 24 football academy in Lagos was invited to Maidstone United Academy in London.
According to Darl Willard ,a UEFA pro coach ,who was one of the foreign scouts that screened the players, Asoquo is a great talent.
Willard who had worked at Tottenham youth academy and Chelsea Youth academy with players like Tammy Abraham who is currently a strike at Swansea ,said Asoquo has a very big chance of getting a permanent deal in Europe and become a big professional player.
His words ,”I am a UEFA pro coach ,which is the highest coaching level in the world , I have also worked with young talents in Tottenham and Chelsea academies who are now great footballers So I know great talents when I see them .When I saw Wisdom play ,I was blown away by his potential .The boy looked great here in Nigeria .Now we need to see how he looks in men`s game in Europe .Wisdom is decent and I `ll be excited to see him in UK.”
