“Unarguably, we believe quality materials and due diligence will also help forestall building mishaps that intermittently plague pages of newspapers headlines and bulletins.”

She said that it will be a win-win situation for all the attendees and participants “For esteemed exhibitors, this exhibition will not only bring you closer to your customers, but grant your revered brand unprecedented exposure before other players in the industry including the Lagos State Government.

The opening day will see Engr. (Dr.) Oyelade, a Civil and Environmental Engineer from the University of Lagos delivering a lecture titled: “Building Materials in Lagos State: Access and Assessment.”

Chairman of the Planning Committee, Mr. Adumadeyin told the newsmen at the briefing that the organisers planned a customer-friendly expo with little cost burden on the exhibitors and more opportunities to be taken away from the event.

“This is the first edition, and because of COVID-19 pandemic, we are organising a modest expo. We are having a good number of exhibitors that have shown interests. The exhibition will be an eye opener and educative to all the stakeholders and most especially the public because this building sector of the economy concerns all Nigerians and this expo cannot but come at this crucial period of our nation,” he said.
