As part of its drive to fill the vacuum created by the deficiency in housing across the country, a real estate company, GOT Formation Limited, has sought to give an opportunity to willing investors to own investments in the real estate sector.

The company’s Managing Director, Talabi Ayobami, made the disclosure during a press briefing in Lagos, recently.

Talabi said that the company was seeking for partners and investors in its proposed luxury and affordable apartments in Abuja, Lagos, Rivers and other states in the country.

Talabi who explained how prospective investors could take advantage of the opportunity, said: “We are kick-starting this project with 24 units of luxury and affordable apartments at the heart of Adeniyi Jones, Ikeja, estimated to cost  N1.4 billion.

“Join us in this building project and earn interests on funds invested. Your interests are derivable from percentage on contributors’ fund, the sale of the apartments to bidders and we will be glad to discuss this investment opportunities with prospective customers.

“Apart from rewarding financial gains,  as an investor, everyone will also be part of the improvement of the  Nigerian economy as this project will infuse cash into the economy, provide employment opportunities to some Nigerians, fulfill the “Nigerian Dream” home ownership to Nigerians at home and in the Diaspora and enhance the overall development of the country through government earnings on taxation.”

Ayobami stated that the rationale behind the  Capital Project Investment Fund is to make the acquisition of choice properties easy, as the company had a lot of proposed projects in real estate investment waiting for investors to benefit from.

He said the idea was to bring land and house ownership to the doorstep of the ordinary Nigerian who wants to own a house. According to him, the company intends to make it open to the public as a capital project, and that would be in batches.

Speaking further, he explained that, while GOT Formation Limited, the mother company, will focus on project construction, Zircon-Laurel Investment Limited, its subsidiary, would be in charge of the capital project investment fund, disbursement, management and accountability of investors and projects.

According to him, the portfolio gives investors the opportunity to start earning 32 percent Return on Investment by getting monthly return from the 10th month, return on capital plus last profits by the 15th month and the opportunity for rollover and continuous investments in other projects.
