The National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), Edo State Chapter, has called on those trying to pitch the former chief of staff Comrade Taiwo Akerele against his former Boss, Governor Obaseki of Edo State to desists from it.

In a statement signed by the chairman of council on Friday said that the former chief of staff had resigned his appointment on  “administrative and governance grounds”.

He, however, said he still supported the governor’s “quest to transform” Edo state.

In last few days there have been several media attacks against the former chief of staff by some overzealous person in an attempt to make him look bad and ungrateful to the Governor, Therefore, we warn those responsible to henceforth desist from it otherwise we will expose them and mobilize the people against them.

Since the Governor has since appointed a replacement in the person of Osaze Ethan Uzamere lets all join hands and ensure that he succeeds and delivers on his new appointment.
