International businessman and CEO of Afro6ix Media Consult, George Omokehinde Peters said Afrobeats’ era of domination has begun.

“Every global artiste of note now seeks collaboration with Nigerian artistes from Burna to Tiwa to Davido to Wizkid. That’s a sign that Afrobeats has taken over.”

The Prince George Entertainment boss who is a computer engineer with Bell Canada (one of the country’s biggest telecommunications companies) before shunting to entertainment as side business said his long-held belief of Afrobeats’ supremacy was proved right by Burna Boi’s Grammy win and Wizkid’s feat with Beyonce.

He continued: “Since the day I attended wizkid’s concert in 2012, I had envisioned that Afrobeats will become the sound of the future,” he said.

Despite coming into showbusiness without a cognate background, George Omokehinde Peters insisted that his company, Prince George Entertainment got off to a flying start because he went through a period of training during which he understudied the showbiz industry.

He said: “I did not jump into showbiz straight away.  I worked with a lot of people before I became independent. I read a lot and discovered so many ways to improve and better showbizz.”
