Rhema University, Aba, made history recently when she held her first education exhibition which showcased wonders of the great citadel of learning. The programme, which attracted many academics, school heads and dignitaries from all walks of life, was intended to sensitize the public on special educational features and unique packages available at Rhema University.

Apart from creating a forum for people to meet one-on-one with representatives of various departments and colleges of the university, it also enlightened prospective candidates on the university admission policy. Moreover, it provided detailed information on special programmes such as Interim Joint Matriculation Board (IJMB), continuing education as well as the regular degree programmes.

By 10:30 am, the sprawling Rhema University auditorium was packed full with guests and invitees. After the opening prayer said by Pastor Sampson Ihemefor on behalf of Dr Jude Ehiemere, the Medical Director Living Word Mission Hospital and Vice President of Living Word Ministries, the Rhema Symphony led the audience in singing the national and university anthems.

In his welcome address, the Vice Chancellor of Rhema University, Prof. O.C. Onwudike, enlightened all about Rhema University establishment founded in 2009, accredited by NUC in 2010 and awarded full operational licences in 2015. Rhema has, so far, graduated three sets of students and is set to roll out the fourth. All the sets have gone for their youth service.

Rhema University known for its cult-free, exquisite environment, is said to be void of exam malpractices, sexual harassment or bullying of any sort. Above all, students are grounded in their various disciplines and at the same time rooted in the fear of God! The V.C emphasized the training of the child in godly principles and cited the examples of John Quincy Adams, the third American President whose mother drummed into him the virtues of humility, probity and integrity.
