Karimot Aderinsola Abiola, the daughter of late billionaire businessman cum politician, Chief MKO Abiola is said to be having it very rough in her battle to become a member of the House of Representatives. It’s like a ‘baptism of fire’ for the amiable dark-hue lady seeking to represent Abeokuta North/Obafemi- Owode/Odeda federal constituency of Ogun State at the Green Chamber of the National Assembly on the platform of Action Democratic Party, ADP, in today’s rescheduled general elections. The young female politician is said to be having a vicious foe in incumbent federal lawmaker, Mikail Kazeem, who is believed to be feeling threatened by her rising profile in their constituency. Kazeem who was elected into the House of Representatives in 2015 on the platform of the All Progressives Congress, APC, recently defected to Allied Peoples’ Movement, APM, alongside other allies of the State governor, Senator Ibikunle Amosun, to seek a return to the lower chamber.
