The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) candidate for Oyo South senatorial district, Chief Joseph Tegbe, has promised to facilitate people-oriented projects in the senatorial district if elected
into the Upper Legislative Chamber of the National Assembly during the 2023 general elections.

He made the promise in his response to the encomiums showered on him by a socio-cultural organisation, Ibadan Solidarity Group (ISG), for his immense contributions to the growth and development of Ibadanland.

The commendations were given by the President of ISG, Jide Adewale, a former Commissioner for Environment during the administration of the late Governor Abiola Ajimobi, as well as two other ranking members of the group, Dr Taiwo Lasisi, and Segun Oladipo.

According to Tegbe, who commended members of the club for their support, assured the people of six local government areas of Ibadan and three local government areas of Ibarapa, that makeup Oyo South senatorial district of his commitment to the progress of ISG, Ibadanland and the entire state.

He said that his passion for positively impacting the lives of the people and developing society motivated him into joining the senatorial race. He pledged to do everything within his power to facilitate projects that would have a direct positive impact on the people and society if he is elected a senator next year.

The President of ISG, Jide Adewale, described Tegbe as a compassionate and loving personality, who is so passionate about the welfare and wellbeing of the people. He also thanked the PDP senatorial candidate for his consistent support for the club and its members.

Also speaking on the occasion, a member of the group, Dr Taiwo Lasisi, described Tegbe as a true Ibadan man, with Omoluabi ethos. In the same vein, Segun Oladipo noted that the PDP candidate’s contributions have been very helpful for the development and progress of the club.
