Super Eagles’ Coach, Gernot Rohr is not impressed with the lack of football infrastructure in the country and wondered why the national team cannot play international games in Abuja, which is a damning indictment of the Nigerian Football Federation.

Since the appointment of the German as coach in 2016, the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo, Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium in Port Harcourt and most recently, Stephen Keshi Stadium, Asaba had hosted the senior national team’s matches.

With the Super Eagles facing Seychelles in Asaba today and Dream Team battling Libya three days later, the playing turf might be in a mess before a high profile friendly against Egypt on March 26, that is three games in four days.
