The club, as part of its “Supporting the Environment” activities this Rotary year is joining other Rotary clubs in Rotary International, District 9110 to plant trees in this exercise.
The tree planting exercise took place in two different schools in Ajah Community with 22 trees, which included coconut, avocado pear, local apple, palm, and London Bird flowers.
The club commenced the tree planting exercise at Okun Ajah Community Secondary School in Ajah and proceeded to Eti-Osa Community Senior High School, Sangotedo, both in Lagos
Tree planting is part of Rotary’s International initiative in order to show long-term commitment to the environment.
