Dr. Rotimi Mathew holds Ph.D. in Public Administration, Professional Doctorate in Commerce and Enterprises Development, and a Masters degree in Human Resources Management. His influence in professional mentoring programmes and projects cut across individual, family life, organisations and institutions. He founded the first Mentoring and Coaching Institute in Nigeria with aim of bringing professionalism to mentoring and certification.
He initiated and led the institute to marshal resources for legislation of Institute of Mentoring and Career Coaching Nigeria to become Chartered Institute of Mentoring and Coaching Nigeria; for regulation, practice and certification of practitioners of mentoring in Nigeria. He is the Director General, Chartered Institute of Corporate Mentoring and Coaching Nigeria, Founding President, Association of Professional Mentor and Coaches of Nigeria, Convener- Master Mind Mentors Initiative and Accelerated Mentoring Lab.
He is a multi-disciplinary consultant, Professional Mentor, Coach and Human Resource Expert with contact sessions of over 87,000 hours and training of over 100,000 people (inclusive of individuals and team) with over two decades of unbroken mentoring sessions, training, facilitation, speaking, strategising, lobbying, due diligence process and business consulting. He has international exposure and experience, a more entertaining conversationalist that earns a reputation for his ability to connect with audiences at all levels with results and rewards.

A Lead Trainer of Nigeria Immigration Service officers on Personal Effectiveness, Workplace Emotions, Attitude and Stress Management Course – 2022, the Consultant and Resource Person at the Kaduna Refinery and Petrochemical Company’s Annual Management Retreat in 2021. He was a Team Lead for strategic training programmes and the Lead Speaker for conferences in Abuja and Kaduna State pre and post-pandemic and into the new normal – 2018 -2020.
He served as the key expert on Consultancy Services and Training for mentorship on Money Management, Self-Esteem, and Entrepreneurship Skills for over 861 beneficiaries of public works Interventions – Funded by World Bank and the European Union, through the Federal Government of Nigeria in Delta State between 2016-2017.
He was the Co-Investigator, Lead Mentoring Expert, and Facilitator of the Development of a Cultural Friendly Sustainable Research Career Initiative for women scientists from diverse settings in Nigeria- focusing on reducing Science Technology Engineering and Math (STEM) Gender Gap, using mentorship as an intervention, sponsored by World Health Organization/Infectious Research Diseases Group, 2015.
