The giant strides of Ndhlovu Ziggy Xolane continue unbroken as his DafriGroup is set to launch AfriGo Mall, a new subsidiary that will match the likes of Amazon. 

 

 

The new subsidiary which is an e-commerce company will focus on online retailing across Africa, the Billionaire entrepreneur hinted recently.

Ndhlovu, better known by his online handle@xolanendhlovu, offered an insight into his latest entrepreneurial effort, saying: “AfriGo Mall is a marketplace where you buy and sell just about anything. It will be Amazon of Africa and is owned by DafriGroup.”

 

This is coming a few months after the DafriBank Digital went live and accounts holders of the first digital-only bank on the continent are transacting seamlessly across Africa.

 

Explaining further, xolanendhlovu, the digital entrepreneur and philanthropy extraordinaire,  said: “DafriBank will be the principal payment partner, meaning, money in DafriBank account  can be used to shop on AfriGo Mall; subscribers on the platforms can also advertise and sell anything from anywhere in Africa.”

Asked when the new e-commerce business will become active, Xolane Ndhlovu said: “Expect it anytime soon.”

 

In the meantime, the DafriGroup chairman continues his Sunday reward for his social media followers who are required to drop their DafriBank account numbers on his Instagram page where 20 lucky winners are randomly selected for their monetary reward.

Of the 10 winners whose account numbers were published on his Instagram handle @xolanendhlovu, nine won the sum of R1, 000 while the remaining one got R2, 300.

Ndhlovu further confirmed his followers, saying: “My giveaway with @DafriBank is still much active. Your turn is coming as long as you following me and DafriBank on all social media.”

The billionaire who began life as a disc jockey is one of the continent’s leading digital entrepreneurs and fintech innovators.

AfriGo Mall, coming months after DafriBank, will add to the over 16 subsidiaries under the DafriGroup.
