The senator representing South Senatorial District of Anambra State, Patrick Ubah, last Thursday commended the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Stanel Group, Dr Stanley Uzochukwu for providing houses and scholarship for widows and over 250 children in his Umumam village in Osumenyi of Nnewi South Local Government Area of Anambra State.
Senator Ubah made the commendation during a visit to his home town where he inspected a newly completed town hall which Dr Uzochukwu built for his kinsmen.
Dr Uzochukwu who is known for his philanthropy and creation of labour through his Stanel Group is believed to achore his gestures on the age-long axiom that charity begins at home.
Uba who could not hold back his admiration for Uzochukwu for his impact on the lives of widows and school children in the community, commended him for his deed.
He also urged him to keep up his laudable impact on his community and country at large.
