Simply Exponential Consult Limited, a personal and organizational development, and training company, has received support from She Works Here through a grant from the United States African Development Foundation (USADF), to set up a learning management system (LMS) and an all-female pre-accelerator programme tagged Hermoneyclinic.

The training is targeted at female entrepreneurs and tech founders. The partnership will give women looking to raise funds for their businesses the opportunity to register for the training programme at a highly subsidised fee.

The Managing Consultant of the firm, Fayo Williams, while speaking at the Launch Webinar said: “Simply Exponential Consult Limited (SECL) is a training and consulting company founded in 2010 to help people and organizations attain set goals in the areas of human capital development and business management.

“It is a Nigerian-owned company with international affiliations. We are very excited at the opportunity given us to scale our training operations, leveraging on technology.”

At the same event, Managing Director of She Works Here, Ms. Thelma Ekiyor, said: “Our Small Women Owned Businesses (SWOB) programme funded by the United States African Development Foundation (USADF) made the grant available, specifically to support women in business who were affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. She Works Here is proud to support your organization and we look forward to a constructive relationship.”

The grant agreement letter sent to SECL on the 16th day of September 2021 stated that one of the purposes of the grant is to “Develop a virtual incubator and learning management system.”

Hermoneyclinic is an online access to finance pre-accelerator training lasting four weeks inclusive of four Masterclasses, where factors limiting Women Owned Businesses (WOBs) are diagnosed and addressed.

Sunday Sun gathered that the programme is not designed to hand out money but to build capacity, increase investment-readiness and link female entrepreneurs to appropriate sources of finance to grow andexpand their businesses by leveraging on debt, and equity or grants.

While the business environment requirements and regulatory context are drawn from Nigeria, the course covers access to finance principles that apply globally.
