Perturbed by the avalanche of human rights abuses in Nigeria, Afro Rockstar and social justice crusader, Frequencie has urged government at all levels to take decisive steps towards ending the unhealthy development.

Frequencie made this call in statement issued yesterday to commemorate International Human Rights Day.

The Afro Rockstar said violation of human rights by security agencies, political office holders and influential citizens were against the Universal Human Rights declaration, and must be halted immediately.

He, therefore, called on government, civil society organizations and others to continue to protect human rights as well as stand up for vulnerable citizens in cases of abuses.

Frequencie also urged Nigerians to familiarize themselves with relevant laws in order to know their rights as well as guide against any abuse from privileged people in the society.

He expressed the belief that the war could only be won if all stakeholders contribute their quotas and speak with one voice.
