Soldiers kill 27 terrorists, seize arms in Borno

The Defence Media Organization (DMO), said soldiers on internal security operations in Kaduna state have killed two bandits,and recovered arms and ammunition from them.

Director Defence Media Operations, Major-General Musa Danmadami, said that  soldiers from Operation FOREST SANITY, engaged the bandits following a distress call of an attack on Rafin Sarki village in Giwa Local Government Area, of the state.

Danmadami, in a statement ,said “Troops of Operation FOREST SANITY on January 1and 2  2023, received a distress call of bandits attack at Rafin Sarki village in Giwa Local Government Area, Kaduna State. The  troops responded swiftly, and engaged the terrorist in a fire fight. The troops, neutralized two  torrorist, and recovered one  AK 47 rifle.

“Equally, 3 January 3,2023, troops carried out an ambush operation at Rafin Taba village, Giwa LGA, , Kaduna State, and made contact with terrorists.  They also engaged terrorists, and neutralized two terrorist. The  troops also recovered two AK 47 rifles, four AK 47 magazines, 51 7.62mm special ammunitions, five  mobile phones, one  cutlass, two  motorcycles and a sum of 206,000.
