Governor of Anambra State, Chukwuma Soludo, has eulogised the Old Girls Association of Queen of the Rosary College, Onitsha, for answering the clarion call for stakeholders to partner his administration in transforming schools in Anambra into smart schools.

Soludo, who was represented on the occasion of the 80th anniversary celebration of Queen of the Rosary College Onitsha, at the weekend, by the Anambra State Commissioner for Education, Ngozi Chuma-Udeh, appreciated the QRC Onitsha Old Girls Association for resolving to identify with their alma mater in a unique way, charging them to always hold on to the high ideals of their alma mater.

The 80th anniversary celebration of Queen of the Rosary College Onitsha was preceded by a high mass celebrated by the Archbishop of Onitsha Archdiocese, Valerian Maduka Okeke.

High point of the occasion was the blessing of the staff quarters built by the old girls of the college.
