Southern Sun Ikoyi clocked off the year 2017 with invitation to friends, guests and customers as they gathered for the annual year-end cocktail. The event which always serves as a great networking opportunity, brought together the crème of the thriving business and corporate community in Lagos.
Welcoming guests to the venue, Mark Loxley, general manager, Southern Sun, thanked the audience for their continued patronage of the hotel, especially through the challenging economic year. Loxley continued with a brief business review of the year in which he highlighted the many successes of the hotel, including achieving new levels in the patronage of its refurbished and expanded meeting room facilities. He ended with an appreciation of the dedication of the staff, while reiterating the hotel’s commitment to delivering personalised service that exceeded expectations every time.
Also thanking guests for their patronage, Ubong Nseobot, sales and marketing manager, Southern Sun, announced a number of enticing New Year offers designed to give each guest a magical treat in the Yuletide season. The offers, which ran through the Christmas period, ended yesterday, January 4, 2018, and included packages involving great discounts per standard room each night, complimentary with breakfast for two and two shirts for ironing upon arrival. The cocktail event ended with guests being treated to a sumptious array of gourmet canapés, choice wines and mixed vibes.
