Governors of the six states in Southwest Nigeria have gathered for a crucial meeting at Ado-Ekiti, the Ekiti state capital.
The governors, who could not make it were represented by their deputies. One of such is Ogun state governor Ibikunle Amosun, who is represented at the meeting by his deputy Yetunde Onanuga.
At the meeting at press time were Lagos and Ondo state governors Akinwunmi Ambode and Olusegun Mimiko. Also in attendance of course is host, Governor Ayo Fayose.
The reason for the no doubt crucial meeting could not be ascertained at press time, but Fayose’s aide on new media, Lere Olayinka, hinted that the meeting was a very important event.
