The Presidential Candidate of the Labour Party, Mr. Peter Obi, has charged Nigerians who are not happy with the downward spiral of the country, to strive to collect their permanent voters cards (PVC) as the distribution of the cars has commenced.

He stressed that the effort made by them to obtain their PVCs would strongly arm them with the electoral power to take back their country during the 2023 general election.

Obi made the call at this year’s prayer programme of The Lord’s Chosen Charismatic Renewal Movement, held at the international headquarters of the church, Ijesha, Lagos, with the theme

This years program of the Lord’s Chosen “The King has decided to honour you” has come and gone but the blessings remain indelible in the heart of the congregation.   The program attracted the presence of the Presidential Candidate of Labour Party, Peter Obi who visited the occasion. 

Obi urged Nigerians in the forth coming elections to be prepared to take back their country from unproductive politicians.  Obi whose visit to The Lord’s Chosen Revival Ministry caused stir among worshippers of the church, one of the Annual Programm of the Lord’s Chosen Revival Ministry “The King has decided to honour you”, he urged them not to vote along ethnic, religious line but to use their vote to take the country from subsisting misruled by Politicians.   The former governor regretted the economic pains the economic is causing Nigerians.

The Programm invokes divine expectations by the congregations because after four years the topic was being held again because 2018 was when it was first held in the church.

He described bad leadership as a worse thing that could happen to anyone irrespective of ethnicity or religion  With the forth coming election is a platform for Nigerians to make use off and return the country past glory by voting the right candidate who has the capacity to turn things around.

He lamented that Nigeria is a great country but its leaders have made it an inhabitable place.  We want a government that will be able to provide the people with a source of livelihood, where the sons and daughters of nobody can become somebody.  “Next year on the day of the election don’t leave it the way you used to, apart from praying we don’t want this country to continue like this.  I assure you that from next year God is going to take control of this country.” and we start by electing a good leader.

Speaking also during the program, the General overseer of the church Pastor Lazarus Muoka urged the people to continue to serve God, and he will honour all those who are serves him faithfully, and God will reward them with good things such as gold and not bronze.  “God will give you gold, and not bronze because you are among the first, your life shall never be cut short”.   “God will preserve the righteous, and defend them and with heaven at last”.

He emphasised that as many as honour the invitation of God will be honoured, God has the power to do all things, with him there is no limitation on what he does, therefore he encouraged the people to keep up with their faith in God.   He also called on Nigerians to place priority in honouring God in things, live a righteousness life for this is the bad rock of success.
