The Abundant Life Gospel Church located at 69, Iju Road, Pen Cinema, Agege, Lagos will hold its 2016 edition of Superfest, an annual feast of word ministration, music and intercession, which normally features leading ministers of God, from August 5-10.
Top on the bill this year is TREM’ Bishop, Dr. Mike Okonkwo, supported by US-based Bishop David Adeoye; Rev. Segun Johnson (UK), Prof. Josiah Onaolapo (Zaria) and the host, the church’s General Overseer, Rev. (Dr.) Mrs. Jane Onaolapo.
To spice up the sessions, the highly gifted Superfest Choir would be on bandstand, supported by Koye Sax, Pastor Moji Alawiye and Psalmist Family. Onaolapo, herself, a talented singer, is not left out of the songfest.
According Onaolapo, the highlight of this year’s event is the Ministers’ Conference and the theme “God’s Battle Axe” is quite apt for the times. She said God’s oracle is His word or battle-axe, spoken through the mouth of His Prophets. “The word is sharper than any two-edged sword,” she added.
The woman of God assured that Superfest 2016 guest speakers would pray for divine intervention as the nation grapples with unprecedented economic distress.
“For those seeking the intervention of the divine in the shape of individual miracles, the daily crusade from 6pm has been set up as a platform for God’s anointed servants to minister to their needs. Those who need a miracle must come with the expectation to receive. Faith comes by hearing, but you must believe the word for it to work for you,” she stated.
