My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. If not for the unholy alliance that ushered the All Progressives Congress (APC) in, who is Muyiwa Awe to insult Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye?

Awe is looking for cheap publicity. Adeboye has been praying for different categories of people, nobody kicked, why the panic now? God is so good that everyone involved in the 2015 election deal is getting his or her reward.

We are happy that everything happening today was foretold. So, let the injustice go round so we can have peace and come together and resolve our differences. Gradually, the world will soon understand the real game plan.

God bless Nigeria.

Anti-human policies

Nice one, please tell the All Progressives Congress (APC), we are not happy with how they are driving us blindly. Do they expect Pastor Adeboye to support and remain with anti-human policies and evil? Why are they re-acting to the obvious truth?

The world is watching them. Governor Ayodele Fayose (Ekiti State) remains a hero and the voice of the youths, no thanks to all of you who deceived and led us into this mess. Posterity will judge you all big time.

Let us watch and see.

Chasing shadows

With that article on Pastor Enoch Adeboye and Governor Ayodele Fayose, we ended the year (2016) on a fantastic note. As I grow older, I pay less attention to what men say, I just watch what they do.

I still keep the campaign calendar that contains all the promises of Buhari/Osinbanjo. The APC should think front and back.

The masses are dying of hunger and they are busy chasing shadows. Why is APC always panicking and reacting whenever the truth is told? Jide Awe & co, time shall tell.

Nobody can fool all

Pastor Adeboye, the same fire that melts the oil hardens the egg. Sorry, sir, for speaking out and calling a spade a spade. When the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) gave the APC over 3.7milion votes that one was not seen.

APC is looking for a fall. They should face governance, stop diverting attention to minor issues when there are major decays. You led Nigeria into coma and messed up everything and think you can fool all.

Stop playing God

It is unfortunate you are one of the people who are turning human beings into God. Please, stop playing God, as nobody should play God. We are all human beings who can make mistakes. Ask for forgiveness from God, please. Thank you.

Let’s forgive Awe

Please, let all RCCG members forgive Jide Awe, because his meat cannot reach 19 million of us. So, Awe, don’t do it again. If you want to be popular go to the Olympics, OK?

Kudos!

Kudos on that write-up of December 29, 2016, on Pastor Adeboye and Governor Fayose of Ekiti State.

First Lady’s office illegal

One recalls that during President Buhari’s first outing as military Head of State, he manifestly declaimed the nonsense called Office of the First Lady, an unconstitutional creation of that military era. In fact, he hated the office. Now, as President, Buhari’s wife, Aisha, is waxing strong in that position with impunity.

If what is happening between former First Lady, Patience Jonathan, and the EFCC is anything to go by, the time has come for the authorities to criminalise, yes, outlaw this illegality.

Change must begin with President Buhari and Aisha.

Re: Listen to elders

If Fulani herdsmen slaughter 200 southerners, they will not hear. But if Biafra boys sneeze, they will almost immediately move into action.

Senseless killings

It is rather disturbing that, since Buhari mounted the saddle, senseless killings of southerners, either on political or religious ground, have been rampant. And the saddest point is that, to date, not one of the culprits has been arrested, arraigned before the courts and sentenced.

Enough is enough. Recall the Fulani herdsmen’s killing and maiming across Nigeria and all Buhari said was that they were not as would be ceded to Fulani herdsmen, across Nigeria.

Are Nigerians dumb not to know what? He has promised to drown Nigerians in his “lagoon.” We are all waiting to see how that would be done. Religious war might be it. Let us wait and see. God save Nigeria.

Padding: More cans of worms in the offing

Femi, no one should be surprised about the unravelling drama in politics. Most Nigerians are patient and they would rather ask God for intervention on issues they consider rather life-consuming.

Abdulmumin Jibrin is not alone in the expository mission on corrupt practices in the National Assembly (NASS). Governor Simon Lalong of Plateau State in Sunday Sun July 17, 2016, page 31, stated that, “N2bn youth empowerment fund, 500 vehicles disappeared under Jang.” And in the same edition on page 5, it was reported, “Explain your questionable wealth, Ize-Iyamu tells Oshiomhole.” So, it can be seen that the trend is being replicated beyond NASS.

And your call for more opening of cans of worms is in line with spiritual modus operandi. So, more revelations of corrupt acts by the ruling class are expected, including some of them playing saints while they are worse than the ones they condemn. You will be shocked by the calibre of new culprits.

What a nation!

What a nation! Preaching did not start today. The election is over and Eunice Olawale’s death is not good for our chief security officer’s profile. Such horrific scene played out in our nation’s capital, what a shame!

The northernisation agenda is real. It has been long since was nation was this regionally, ethnically and religiously divided. Politicians have played a big part in making sure we are divided to achieve their selfish goals.

Nigeria’s break-up is not too far from being accurate of what the USA predicted. The Niger Delta having been exploited for too long, for just one year Nigerians have seen the difference.

Look at how appointments are being made, eight out of 10 are for the North. President Muhammadu Buhari should better look back and re-consider some of his actions. We are not fools as they thought we are.

God bless Nigeria.

Dirty boxers

Good day, oh yes the washing of dirty boxers in the public by our representatives should continue. They should keep on the good works they are doing by showing us how they have been misrepresenting us all these years.

No wonder they can go to any length during election to be declared winners. I pray that as they keep on looting our common wealth that kidnappers will keep on going after their family members. Amen!

Burnt fingers

I totally agree that the allegations against Speaker Yakubu Dogara and co should be investigated. I am very sure they will all be exposed including Jibrin. They have dipped their hands in the cooking jar and their fingers must be burnt. Jubrin played the role of a saint during the Jonathan’s era but we now know their true colours.

Akinnola, Giwa-Amu: Two of a kind

The likes of Richard Akinnola and Gabriel Giwa-Amu are worthy of commendation for their efforts at touching lives of the needy generally. They are worthy of emulation by other privileged people.

Their attitude is linked to spiritual initiations and response to such by them. Definitely, there are some Nigerians who are wealthier than they are but are not spiritually inclined to touch other humans who need their help.

On the other side, bringing the story of widow of late Daily Newswatch’s Photo Editor into perception, it shows that future of media workers is not insulated against financial problems of their families; after due service to their media houses.

There are various ways of doing this one of which is the insurance system that pays specified buck sum, based on joint monthly contribution of worker and his employers at death or retirement of the worker. Such sum is paid to his chosen beneficiary stated in the requisite form relating to the transaction.

If such is not in vogue with media houses now, it should be adopted right away. The present should guarantee the future. That is the best mark of appreciation to a devoted and loyal worker by a fair and passionate employer. 08023632992

Christians should wake up

Thank you Femi. I read in Genesis where God told Ishmail (Haggar): “You will be against your people.” Christians should wake up.

Abuse of power

The only semblance of governance in Nigeria today is the abuse of power that is commonplace under this regime. If President Buhari is abusing the powers he has now, is it desirable to add more to his powers?

Buhari is seeking sweeping powers not so that he may bring Nigeria out of the woods, but to establish the agenda of Satan in Nigeria.

The major problem of Nigeria at this time is Buhari. To give him additional powers is to encourage him to swiftly destroy what is remaining of the nation.

One hopes the people of this country can read between the lines.

Buhari needs more powers

National Assembly (NASS), please answer President Muhammadu Buhari’s request to sanitise this nation for everybody’s interest. We need action to put things in order. Nigeria is going down.

pt leaders are within their hearts suffering guilt of indefensible perpetration of corrupt practices. In as much as corruption should be fought to a stand still, suspects should pass through due process before being declared culpable. It is not enough to assume that a huge balance in an individual’s account stemmed from corrupt practices. There are many Nigerians with huge foreign currency account balances, made as surrogates to political leaders, through treasury lootings; unquestioned by EFCC to date. The way this anti-corruption crusade is being carried out reeks of vengeance. But one thing is sure that the drummer of shame today shall, someday in future, dance to drum of shame too. It will go round as usual. Watchout! God save Nigeria. Lai Ashadele. 07067677806.
