She said: “I heartily commend Tellco Europe and SolarLED Solutions for the efforts they have made in trying to provide clean energy for MSMEs in Nigeria. This is in tandem with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) considered as a pathway towards sustainable economic growth in the country.

“Government is fully prepared to work with Tellco to boost our economy. Government is also fully prepared to ensure that the purpose of this project to create enabling environment for businesses to operate, having policy for incentives, tariff concession, waivers and incentives for alternative power supply will be accommodated.

This is why the government is working with stakeholders across all sectors to ensure that MSMEs have the support they need to grow now and in the future.” She said the Federal Government is aware that the capacity of MSMEs in Nigeria to perform the critical role as engine of growth, development, industrialisation, wealth generation and employment creation is hampered by numerous challenges.
