With effect from today, The Sun would commence electronic or e-vending of its publications.

Announcing The Sun e-newspaper during a senior editorial staff retreat at the weekend, Managing Director and Editor-in-Chief, Mr. Eric Osagie, said the move was part of policies to improve on and adapt the brand to modern trends in the industry.

While elaborating on the trend of Internet or online newspaper, Osagie noted that The Sun added the e-newspaper to enlarge the market for the benefit of advertisers and readers of the titles.

He said with the new e-newspaper, advertisers especially have additional advantage, as all pages of every edition of the paper go online, like the hard copy.

The Sun e-newspaper would be circulated online on two platforms of Readme.ng on www.readme.ng and Be Better GTE Limited on www.epapervendor.com

With the assurance of the usual rich content and professional presentation, which appeal to all classes of readers, The Sun Publishing Limited gave the assurance that the e-newspaper outing would not be short of the standard, quality and versatility that the brand is known for.

The Sun management further urged advertisers to subscribe to the distribution platforms, as they would get additional value for media buying in The Sun, since their advert placements also come online with universal resource locator (URL) links and a far wider reach than ever.

The e-newspaper will hit the world wide web (www) every morning, with all the content exactly as available to readers on the hard copy at the newsstands, The Sun said.
