The Olu of Warri, His Majesty, Ogiame Atuwatse III, has thrown his weight behind former Lagos State Governor, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu to succeed President Muhammadu Buhari in 2023.
He said that the curriculum vitae of the National Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), shows he is a “confirmed achiever” in life and, will use his wealth of experience for the good of the country
He said, “Asiwaju Bola Tinubu has been preparing for the presidency for a very long time and has touched many lives and I’m sure if he is given the mandate to lead, he will not disappoint the nation.”
The royal father made the remark when a delegation of the South West Agenda For Asiwaju (SWAGA “23) and Delta State for Bola Ahmed Tinubu DESBAT’23, paid him a courtesy visit in his palace in Warri.
DESBAT ’23, led by its National Coordinator, Senator Dayo Adeyeye, informed the Monarch that the group was in Delta State to drum support for Tinubu and his presidential ambition.
Adeyeye, who was accompanied by the facilitator of SWAGA ‘23, Oye Ojo, the National Secretary, Bosun Oladele, National Treasurer, Apostle Oloruntoba Oke, Ifedadayo Abegunde, Alhaji Ibrahim Raji, Chairman, North Central Alliance for Asiwaju, among others, also used the occasion of the visit to Delta State to inaugurate the state’s chapter of DESBAT’23 as well as the local government branches, under the Chairmanship of Sunday Demi-Ejegi.
The event which held at Cedar Hall , Airport road, Edema Junction, Warri was attended by DESBAT representatives, including, Gani Omoluka, Eni Omosule, Gani Dawodu, Frank Awoefe, Mukaila Musa, Austin Oribioye, and Tunde Okorodudu.
Adeyeye urged DESBAT ’23 to continue mobilising for Asiwaju Tinubu for 2023 elections.
