Award winning Health Technology Company, Tiny Hearts has restated its commitment to continue its fight against neonatal jaundice through its Crib A- Glow solar-powered phototherapy unit.

The founder of Tiny Hearts Technology, Ms Virtue Oboro who reiterated the company’s vision in a tribute to its Senior Data Analyst and Business Manager, Ms Ebinepere Orewole, as part of activities to mark International Week for Science and Peace, commended her for the feat the company has achieved to earn global recognition.

Her words, “She provides Tiny Hearts with much needed concepts that shaped our company policies. We were quick to patent our innovation, Crib A- Glow, and engage health practitioners on the requirements for a phototherapy that meets health and safety standards. We further engaged engineers to construct our design and bring it to life, all this with this Amazon as a driving force. Today our product is globally recognised and gaining traction in hospitals and healthcare centres around West Africa”

Oboro while shedding light on how Orewole first volunteered to work for Tiny Hearts before she eventually left her paid job at Agip multinational Oil and Gas Corporation to work full time, praised her love for babies.

“Ebinepere’s journey with us started way back in 2015 when Tiny Hearts was founded and the novel Crib A-Glow device was designed. Hearing about the innovation, she volunteered herself to be on the team to support the innovation with her skill. She has remained a constant and invaluable member of the team. As a mother who had to wait for half a decade before she could conceive, her zeal for the welfare of babies is boundless” she said.

Speaking about her involvement in Tiny Hearts, Orewole said she is happy to be involved in the mission to save the lives of babies.

“I never in my life thought I would be directly engaged in any activity that is tech based. But tech is the platform in these times to advance humanity. It is gratifying to be able to contribute to saving babies’ lives through our product.”
