Cameroon-born beauty entrepreneur Priskeylia Tifu Dama, popularly known as Titi Dama, has cleared some doubts about her background and origin.

Also sharing her motivations as an entrepreneur, Titi Dama the founder and CEO of BraidsByTiti and the cosmetic company, Brighttiss LLC, disclosed: “My origin can be traced to the State of Ambazonia in Cameroon, which is the English speaking part of Cameroon. I am from a family of 11 and the last child of eight siblings. My family is an integral and important part of my life and they make up a huge part of my success story.”

Titi Dama who attended high school at Cameroon Protestant College (CPC Bali) and also studied in  South Africa at the Academic Institute of Excellence, Midrand, has earned herself a reputation as an astute international entrepreneur.

“My work experience starts from Presbyterian Hospital in Mamfe, Cameroon but I also had a distinct period of service at Leonardo Jewellery Hilton Hotel, Sandton, South Africa,” she asserted while insisting that her work experience extended to the period when she started working on her brands, Brightness Skin Care and Braids by Titi.

“Because in the course of operating these brands, I learnt and mastered management and both brands are the origin of my entrepreneurship journey,” she stated.

Speaking about her experience of self-empowerment, Titi Dama mused: “There is a limit to how far self-motivation can carry you, but there is always this supernatural motivation that comes with the grace of God.”

She further added: “There were times I lost steam to keep moving on, but the consistent drive and hunger for success never ceased. No matter the odds, I’ll never lose focus on the prize.”

In sharing her big lessons as an entrepreneur, the beauty expert underscored the importance of passion, consistency and diligence. “All these lessons had a moulding effect on my path as an entrepreneur. When you fail in something, it gives you a feeling that your world has ended and everything is falling apart, but don’t because of that settle for less. The huge testimony thereafter will be how you stood up again and triumphed,” she mused.
