The king of six nations in Mekong River, Asia. HRH Eze Uzochukwu Jerome Ezeneche (Eze nwataguosimiri) has congratulated Prince Ken Emeakayi who recently emerged the President-General of Okija Town Union Caretaker Committee in Ihiala Local Government Area of Anambra State.
The emergence of Hon. Prince Emeakayi and other caretaker committee members of the town Union followed a mini election/Voice Vote, organized by the Ministry of Local Government, Chieftaincy and Community Affairs at the SSG’s Conference Hall, Government House, Awka.
HRH Ezeneche described Prince Emekayi as a great son of Okija’ whose emergence as President General would bring abundant blessings to Okija people at home and in the Diaspora.
Similarly, ABIG Nwankwo Foundation also congratulates the new PG.
In a special congratulatry message, Ichie ABIG Nwankwo, Chairman – ABIG Nwankwo Foundation described Chief Emekayi’s victory as blessing to Okija people.
In his words, Ichie ABIG Nwankwo said: “Ikemba Nwannem, please accept my heartfelt congratulations on your new position. There’s no better man for the role, but you, even as I wish you the best of success as you take up the responsibilities and challenges of your high office because to “whom much is given, much is expected.”
Prince Emeakayi was unanimously elected by members from Okija Ubahu Abu Ubahu, Uhuobo na Uhuowelle and ihite Abu Ihite, Okija.
The Elected Executive members present also unanimously elected Chief Barrister Ikenna Obidiegwu as the Secretary General, Honourable Chief Nwabueze Umeh – the Financial Secretary, while Chief Comrade Chukwuebuka ilo emerged the PRO.
