Senior Brand Manager, Heineken, Mfon Bassy is relishing the football actions, which unfolded in the UEFA champions League round of 16 actions.
As dedicated sponsors of the champions league, Heineken, known for their passion for football had been fuelling the Nigerian football fans’ love for the game, birthing the ‘Unmissable Moments’ campaign to excite fans as they cheer on their favourite European sides through to the 2019 final at the Wanda Metropolitano, Spain.
Speaking on the Unmissable Moments Campaign, Mfon Bassey had this to say; “The last round of matches have been really thrilling, first a depleted PSG side swept up all 3 points at Old Trafford then Juventus went to Atletico and came out victorious. These are the kinds of unmissable moments Heineken would like to share with the fans because Heineken is passionate about rewarding their love for the sport and giving football fans in Nigeria premium football experiences. The campaign Unmissable Moments is just another way of fulfilling on that. The fans can expect a lot more from us because we have loads of activities planned for the year”.
In 2018, in a bid to continue creating worthwhile experiences for football fans of the UEFA champions league, Heineken brought over legendary Argentine marksman Hernan Crespo to the country before going ahead to reward some lucky passionate fans with the opportunity to watch the UEFA Champions league semifinals and finals live from Europe.
