No doubt, the Nigerian music industry has grown to become one of the best in the world.

Few weeks ago, Nigerian born, Burna Boy and Wizkid clinched Grammy Award and again put the nation in the limelight musically.

For Nigerian American actor and businessman, Olaniyi Daniel Adedeji, alias Lordmansamusa, music is an aspect of creativity that Nigerians have demonstrated their dominance in the past few years.

“Here in America,  Nigerians are acknowledged as the masters of Afrobeats, and Davido is recognised as one of the best musicians of the genre,” he said.

The widely-travelled international businessman further opined that afrobeats will one day become the global sound that will supplant the popular genres that are presently the rave in Europe and North America.

“Every genre of music has its peak period. Reggae had its era; pop had reigned supreme sometime in the past, and rock was once the height of creative music; in time, Afrobeats will become world No 1,” he posited.

Speaking about his creative pursuits, Lordmansamusa avowed that his interest presently is only in acting. “While I love music and while I wouldn’t say I have explored or exploited my musical talent, acting, by and large, is my passion,” he said.

Continuing, he added: “I set out on the acting career two years ago, and I am not doing badly at the moment. Give me a few years, and I believe I will attain acting stardom.”

He further unveiled his plan to grow his acting career to international fame. “I am not in a hurry, because acting is a career I want to pursue into my old age and I have my eyes on achieving Hollywood fame someday,” Lordmansamusa avowed.
