Governor Udom Emmanuel is having an affair with Peace! Please, don’t tell his wife o. I caught him red-handed. But, people of God, as a man filled with anointing, I am only exposing him now so that others can learn. For more than three years, I tried to keep quiet. But, my conscience keeps blaming me to make this public. So, I am going to tell it all!

You see, the spirit of the Lord is leading me this morning to talk about this. I swear on the biggest Bible, and you can quote me anywhere: Udom is having an affair with lady called Peace! And as I have heard, where she resided before, she had two hefty children. About three years ago, she relocated to Akwa Ibom State, on Udom’s promptings. Already, she has  brought down those kids.  The first one is named Inyene or Eduek (meaning Riches or Wealth). And the second one is Ukpeme (Security)!

People of God, you see, in times of hardship and uncertainties, God sends messages through people like me. As those who know me will testify, I am  a very good messenger. And an obedient servant to my children. So, when God “exposed” Udom to me, He however gave me hope. God says that woman, Peace, will make Akwa Ibom people flourish. Hallelujah!

In a trance, God took me to the biggest eatery in Heaven and ordered a basin of ice cream. But I told Him I was watching my height and that I wanted to rush back to my family. “Fear not”, He said. Instead, God reminded me of how much He cares for Akwa Ibom people.

Suddenly, He signaled an angel, who  appeared at my elbow with an open Bible and asked me to read. But my glasses was not there. So, the angel read Leveticus 26:6 : “I will grant peace in the land, and you will lie down and no one will make you afraid. I will remove wild beasts from the land, and the sword will not pass through your country.” Then, two things flashed through my mind:  years of insecurity in the state and the recent “Hineck erection”, through which God  performed wonders and spoke in “silent thunder”!

Anyway, Madam Peace, according to the “guardian angel” is so important that the Bible mentions her 429 times. In John 14:27(NIV), God said: “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives”. And in  Isaiah 32:18, He promised His children “peaceful dwelling places, in secure homes, in undisturbed places of rest”. Hence, the psalmist, in the face of turbulence in the world, claimed God’s offer of peace when said “In peace I will lie down and sleep, for you alone, Lord, make me dwell in safety”.(Psalm 4:8 , NIV). “Udom is doing good by bringing Peace to your state. Peace has already invited her children – Security and Prosperity. It is the Lord’s doing!”, said the angle. As Mr Angel said that, a gentle breeze blew by, it was God’s way of smiling at me.

I was reminded that God loves the peacemakers,(Matt 5:9) “for they will be called children of God”. And the reason all these were exposed to me was because I am a peacemaker. “Go and tell Akwa Ibom people that Peace is better than riches” said the angel.

He added that God hates liars, betrayers and trouble makers (1 Pet 3:10-11); and wants them to “turn from evil and do good; they must seek peace and pursue it”. But for those who are bent on fomenting trouble, I was told to tell them that they shall know no peace. “The way of peace they do not know, and there is no judgment in their goings: they have made them crooked paths: whosoever goeth therein shall not know peace”(Isaiah 59:8, KJV).

Brothers and sisters, praise the Lord. Always let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, “since as members of one body you were called to peace”. (Colossians 3:15 | NIV). True lovers of God are lovers of peace, for God is not an author of confusion but of peace (1 Cor 14:33, NIV). God therefore wants all Christians to support those who bring peace. Like Udom Emmanuel!

Hallelujah! Amen! Praise the God! People of God,  God cares for us In Akwa Ibom State and that is why he sends this message of peace and hope. God is telling us today  that where there is peace, there is hope for prosperity. But where there is no peace, there can never be progress. God wishes us to prosper and that is why James 3:18 (NIV) says “Peacemakers who sow in peace reap a harvest of righteousness”. Peace unites; peace brings security. No wonder Akwa Ibom is more united and secure today than before. Ephesians 4:3(NIV) advises us to “Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace”.

A policeman from a northern state testified, recently, to the peace in Akwa Ibom. “My brothers and sisters, Akwa Ibom people are very quick to forget history. There was a time every police officer in Akwa Ibom used to report at their divisions, every Saturday night, to check which church they were posted to guard on Sunday morning. And by 6am every Sunday, we reported at the churches well armed with two live magazines – i mean at least 60 rounds of live ammunitions. Today, it is different. If I don’t  vote for Udom for any other reason, I would vote for him because of the peace and security enjoyed in this state. Now, I see people walking or driving about even by 2am without fear and I just thank God”

Today, we go to churches at any time of the day or night without fear of kidnapping. Gone are the days when worshippers were abducted from churches in Akwa Ibom State. And the man God has used to bring that peace is Udom Emmanuel – in deed, God is with us! While some are trying to instigate war, Udom preaches peace. He says:“As your governor, I love peace. I preach peace, I preach love, and I preach togetherness. These attributes have been the articles of faith to which I am inexorably committed to pursuing and will continue to uphold no matter the push to act otherwise”! And he prays for peace. “As we go into election this year, let the God of peace grant us peace…may we enjoy peaceful, credible and transparent election”.

To sustain the peace we now enjoy so that prosperity can come in,  Udom wants your support and you must reject the enemies of peace and prosperity. “Given what we have achieved in our first term… I urge you to go out there and vote for peace, vote for security, vote for sustainable development, vote for the future of our children, their education, their future, vote for a God-fearing leader. I urge you to abstain from all violence… Our dear state, our people, our sons and daughters, brothers, sisters and relatives must never become victims of political violence again”.

As for me and my household, I will harken to what God is telling the church and like the psalmist: “I will listen to what God the Lord says; He promises peace to his people , his faithful servants” (Psalm 58:8); and I will vote for peace!
